The author

Patricia Neate is a Londoner with a second home in the New Forest where she loves to walk in all seasons.  She has been a teacher, marriage counsellor and family therapist and is a mother and grandmother. Human relationships, which provide the basic texture of life in the past as in the present, are a source of unfailing fascination. It was this that drew her so powerfully to the story of the family we meet in "All My Darlings” revealed through their letters, diaries and notebooks.
